upgrade cisco catalyst 3750v2 ios

В стенде у меня их 2 (V2, поэтому памяти 131072K, то есть на прошивку хватит), можно из них стек собрать.
ios:
- старый c3750-ipbase-mz.122-50.SE3
- новый c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin, а это IP services cryptographic image and device manager files. This image has the Kerberos, SSH, Layer 2+, and full Layer 3 features. This image also runs on the Cisco EtherSwitch service modules.

Подготовка к прошивке заняла меньше 15 минут (соединить кабелем, запустить tftp32). Программа максимум:
- сохранить старую прошивку на tftp 192.168.1.254
- форматнуть flash
- залить уже с извлечением с архива полную версию "IP SERVICES WITH WEB BASED DEV MGR "

Работа для друзей\соседей

Как обычно на НГ возникает куча задач.
1. Обновил Win на ноуте друга с переездом на SSD. Странно, но добавление памяти до 4 Гб снизило, по ощущениям, скорость работы
2. Перенес Win 10 x32 на SSD соседу (Acer M5811), установил 2 диска 1Тб в RAID 1 (между Black и Blue выбрали Blue, прикинув что если с ними что-то случится за эти 2 года, то в любом случае на сэкономленные деньги купим еще), заменили видяху на ASUS GTX 750 Ti.
В планах - переход на x64 и увеличениме памяти, для этого прикидываем где взять/вспомнить лицензии.
Было много работы с Diskpart (http://www.howtogeek.com/197296/how-to-use-the-diskpart-utility-to-assign-and-remove-drive-letters/) и возня с перетаскиванием профиля пользователя (http://winaero.com/blog/move-the-users-folder-in-windows-10-windows-8-and-windows-7/) и всякого барахла на медленный RAID1. Узнал способ загрузки Win 10 в Safe Mode через shift (http://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10)
Осталось наладить автоматические бэкапы (https://evgeniypopov.com/blog/moya-istoriya-po-nastroyke-rezervnogo-kopirovaniya-chast-12.html) и убедить соседа делать их регулярно.

Живем с Lubuntu - еще пара проблем

Возникла ошибка монтирования 1Tb винта из-за ошибки журнала.
Решилось командами:

1. sudo e2fsck -C0 -p -f -v /dev/sda5  
2. sudo e2fsck -f -y -v /dev/sda5 

Возникла необходимость оставить в фоне  долгий процесс копирования (http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/65116/does-a-scp-transfer-close-when-i-close-the-shell)
1. Устанавливаем Screen
2. создаем сессию: screen -D -R name_mc (например)
3. Запускаем нужный процесс
4. Отключаемся от сессии: Ctrl+A затем d
5. Закрываем putty или что там еще
6. Возобнвляем подключение командой с именем сессии: screen -D -R name_mc
7. Для завершения сессии набираем exit

Превращаем DB60 DTE в DCE и делаем переходник

1. У выбранного кабеля вскрываем DB60, отрезаем 52 контакт от группы 50-51-52. Закрываем DB-60
2. Смотрим что на выходе: если 232, то одна схема, если 530 - другая схема.

Для переходников используем DB25female-DB25female
Спаиваем нутрянку по выбранной схеме и вуаля.
проверяем соединение:
show controllers serial x/x
show int serialx/x
debug serial interface

чтобы распаковать tgz в Linux, вам необходимо
tar -zxvf archive.tgz
где archive.tgz - имя tgz архива, который вам нужно распаковать.

Lubuntu внутри домашней сети

Не мог установить, пока не поменял адресное пространство. Мой Netgear напрочь отказывался пропускать вовне сеть 169.254.0.X / 24
После сброса в дефолтный конфиг - пинги пошли и настала пора конфига SAMBA

решено: Установил

 - при запуске через ком. строку не находился

решено: sudo touch /etc/libuser.conf 

Настройка SAMBA 

Если SAMBA не хочет запускаться, после смены места монтирования папок, то проще её переустановить:

sudo apt-get purge samba-common
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install samba smbclient

проверка smbclient -L 127.0.0.1 -N

Не знаю, почему так получилось.. прописал ip-адрес и имя сервера в 
windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts и монтировал по имени, а не по 
адресу: 
net use m: \\alexlaptop\ktorrent 

Настройка SSH:
 This service will start running as soon as it is installed. To verify this, you can do
-  sudo apt-get install openssh-server  
- ssh localhost
yes to the question about the unknown fingerprint and do you want to continue connect, and then providing your password. You will then log in to your own local computer over SSH. This is pretty useless, except as a test, so type
- exit 
to end that SSH session.  

Качаем и ставим Teamviewer: sudo dpkg -i teamviewer_linux_x64.deb  

1. лечим отсутствие зависимостей: sudo apt-get -f install

2. доставляем Dependency is not satisfiable: libpng12-0

3. еще раз ставим sudo dpkg -i teamviewer_linux_x64.deb

сессия в кармане. )))

1. Создать пользователя, Задать ему каталог, описание, shell, имя

sudo useradd -m -d /home/user2 -c "user for R2" -s /bin/bash user2 

2. Задать скрипт для запуска .bash_profile со стартом telnet сессии на нужный порт:

Достал несколько WIC-1T, WIC-2T.
Нашел кабели

DB60-V35MT с переходником на 232MT и кабели SS-232FC.

Задача - состыковать, чтобы закупить недостающую 2522 или NM-8A/S и собрать Frame-Relay
Each serial WIC has one LED, labeled CONN for each port, which lights when the serial port is connected. CONN LED indicates:
       port is in DTE mode, the have been detected
             Data Send Ready (DSR),
             Data Carrier Detect (DCD),
             and Clear To Send (CTS) .
       port is in DCE mode, have been detected
             Data Terminal Ready (DTR)
             Ready To Send (RTS) .


Конфиги стандартны для DCE (clock rate) и DTE, по умолчанию encapsulation = HDLC.
Диагностика:

Оказывается белые переходники не EIA-232, а EIA-530, соответственно связаться с SS-232 они не могут (http://www.advancedrelay.com/downloads/pinouts-for-serial-interfaces.pdf).
